The Goltz Group, parent to five Chicago businesses, today launches a website that finally tells the story of each of its design-oriented businesses — Jayson Home, Artists Frame Service, Chicago Art Source, 1-800ARTWORK and Bella Moulding — and the entrepreneur behind them, Jay Goltz. The site features all the latest Goltz Group news, career opportunities and company information, in one place for the first time.
Knoed Creative and Static Interactive teamed up to design and build a completely new website for the Goltz Group with the goals of creating awareness, reinforcing an earned reputation, giving easy access to information and recruiting the very best. The vision can be described as a marriage of art and business, with the Goltz Group tagline "Connected by design" serving as the inspiration behind the fluid layout and interconnected lines. The intuitive interface and beautiful design reflect the sophistication of the Goltz Group and its companies, complete with mobile-friendly pages for devices of any kind.
In addition to spreading awareness and providing general information for the Goltz Group and its five companies, the site includes the history of the Goltz Group, recent posts from Jay's blog on The New York Times and everything press-worthy including a press kit, latest press releases and story ideas. The site was custom-designed and built with an ExpressionEngine content management system, allowing staff to easily administer the site content on their own.
"Our goal with the new site was for people to want to work there, to want to write about them, to feel inspired by what the Goltz Group's independent companies are doing – and to realize they're all connected by design."
